Should the county buy the coastal rail line for a train and trail?

local_jakeTYes. I think that more safe bike routes across town will make biking easier and so then more people will do it. There will be less traffic on the roads. It will be nicer for people who are driving.

local_curtisHOf course they should. It would be awesome to ride all the way across town. It's illegal to ride there now. Every time we try to build a little trail they tear it down. It would take cyclists off the road where they’re getting run over. It would be so cool and I'd use it every day.

local_garyBYes, especially if the rail line is going to be closed ... it's a good preservation of the right of way. And it's very dangerous riding on the road especially Mission Street if you heading towards Davenport on your bicycle. So yeah, anything that will separate you from traffic is a good idea.

local_karenSNo. It would be too nice of a gift to the bikers in town, most of whom are aggressive, dangerous and inconsiderate. And the money could be spent on more important things.
